The horse NFT is one of the most critical assets in the MetaRace® Horse Racing game, and the quality and pedigree of horses varies based on the ‘generation’ attribute.
MetaRace Horse Racing is an entire ecosystem with multiple elements including horses, accessories, breeding, racing, stable management, race course operation and wagering, all combined into gameplay through the integration of NFTs, META and RACE, the in-game tokens. Every horse NFT is a unique, tradeable asset with its own economic value and has its genetic data stored securely on the blockchain, ensuring it can never be modified, copied, or destroyed by a third party.
In MetaRace Horse Racing the economic value of horses varies greatly, determined by a combination of genetics, attributes, and bionic grade. Every NFT horse has unique genes that determine its appearance and characteristics, and when a player breeds new horses they will randomly inherit genetic attributes from the previous generation. As a result, horses from the same generation can have different attributes and will vary in value accordingly.
The first generation — the Genesis horses — will be created by MetaRace, with a total supply of 42,000 NFTs. There are four founding horse types, each with a number of optimised genomes: Darley Arabian (6 optimised genomes), Godolphin Arabian (5), Byerly Turk (4) and Satoshi Nakamoto (3). Genesis horses have a clear advantage in the MetaRace Horse Racing game, so owning a first generation horse is something no player can afford to miss!
